I am not just an Urban Homesteader or a stay at home dog-mom. I began my writing career as a small-town newspaper reporter.  I now create engaging and shareable books that resonates with those who want live more sustainably. 

My adventures began when I was a young mother living in an apartment.  My skills, knowledge and abilities have grown over the years and so has the size of my backyard. You can always find me with my hands in the dirt, nurturing my garden, at my sewing machine crafting something new, or in the kitchen cooking up something delicious (I hope).
